Minister: according to the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance Greek reference 1249 - to run on errands; an attendant, generally a waiter, such as one at a table or in other menial duties. Using this definition and making a comparison to the true ministers spoken about in the Holy Bible, it is apparent that one who has this position is a servant to others. The chief example being Jesus Christ, and then Apostles, Prophets and other righteous people who lived as examples  to follow. These men are the only true ministers who were appointed by God to receive information and instruction for mankind.

Who is a Minister?

Mark 10:42-45  Jesus Christ, the greatest servant, did not take advantage of His authority over His followers, instead, he served them. 

Ephesians 3:4-8  Paul was appointed by Jesus Christ to preach, teach and minister, to the Gentiles. 

1 Timothy 2:7  The words spoken by Paul can be trusted.

2 Timothy 3:14-17  Those who wrote the scriptures are the true ministers.

1 Corinthians 4:1  Recognize the true ministers. Your life may depend on it.

If those were the only true ministers, then why did Jesus instruct the preaching work to continue until the end of this system? Why are we in over 236 lands and counting? Matt 24:14 and 28:19. He didn't say "preach until the end of the 1st century." It's so obvious that you're apostate because you go out of your way to TWIST the truth of the Bible. 2 Cor 11:12-14

It is true that there are many Disciples in Christ whom are called ministers. The point of the study on True Ministers is that there are also many people who do not teach the truth and yet call themselves ordained ministers. For example, how many ministers are there that say they are called by God or ordained by God and yet teach a trinity or rapture? The words trinity or rapture do not even exist in the Bible. This is why the study above shows and warns true Disciples to make sure the information they learn are from the true ministers.

The Apostle Paul, one of our true ministers even warned us of other ministers who appear righteous, but do not teach the truth.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (KJV)
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

It really depends on how pretty she is and whether the pastor is good at selling his position ...and whether anyone really cares. That is only if it is a wrong second marriage. If her husband beat her, slept around, threatened her life it may be scripturally ligit. Was the pastor also divorced? Lots of possibilities...

We cannot make a judgement on this without knowing the circumstances.

What is more important is what does he teach. Does he teach what is taught in the Bible? You can tell by comparing what the Bible teaches to what the Pastor teaches. Please see studies on this site "True Ministers" and "Clergy".
