 This section of our website is dedictaed to current news and special interests that may not be found in our Bible Study or Prophecy sections. Jesus Christ, Jehovah God's Son, told us to watch. We watch the news and current events because many situations might fit what the scriptures say. It can help us to better prepare ourselves for Christ's second coming. That is why Christ said to watch. The things to watch for are events that match prophecy in Revelation or Daniel, or even to learn about this world so that we can better ourselves to be better Christians. Researching prohecies and world history can be fun but remember what the Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians and to all Christians "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profiteth me nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:2-3 KJV).
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not." (Luke 12:37-40 KJV)

Lots of action is happening with Russia, Iran, and the entire middle east area. Watching also means paying attention to onesself, and whether we are behaving in an acceptable manner toward Jesus and God. |
