If Jesus Christ were the Almighty God, why did he say this to Mary?
"Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God" (John 20:17 KJV). "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I (John 14:28 NIV). If Jesus were God why did he tell Mary he would be going to his God? If Jesus Christ were God, why did he say, "the Father is greater than I?"
Who is God?
"That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth" (Psalm 83:18 KJV).
Is there a God?
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1ASV). If there is no God, where did everybody and everything come from?

Jesus said that no one can come to him unless the Father draws him. John 6:44 And that no one can come unto the Father except by Christ. John 14:6
Many scriptures in the Bible mention both the Father and His Son. There is no mistake that these Two are individuals.
John 3:17,18 – Almighty God sent His Son. Two. John 8:16-18 – The Father sent His Son and bears witness of him. Two.
John 6:38 – Christ did His Father’s will, not his own will. Two. John 14:28 – Father is greater than Christ. Christ himself said so. Two.
Matthew 3:17 – God’s voice from heaven. Two. John 12:28 – Christ prays and God replies. Two. John 14:15,16 – Christ prays to His Father. Two.
John 20:17 – Christ ascended to His God. Two.
1 John 2:22-24 – Continue in Father and Son. Two. John 14:23 – “…we will come” – Father and Son will come unto their people. Two. Revelation 7:10 – Salvation to God and Christ. Two.
Psalm 110:1,2 – Christ sits at His Father’s side. Two. Hebrews 1:13 – Christ with His Father until His enemies are cast out. Two.
Mark 13:32 – God knows the time, but Christ does not. Two. Matthew 24:36 – Only Almighty God knows. Two.
Revelation 11:15 – Kingdoms of God and Christ. Two. Revelation 6:16 – Wrath of God and Christ. Two.
Prove it to yourself! TWO: Christ is not God; He is God’s Son. They worked together in the creation. This is not a mystery as the clergy teach. These scriptures reprove the clergy’s manmade idea of the trinity.
Proverbs 30:4 says “…what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?”
Can you tell?

Hi, I found your Web Site by Google And I wish you the best you can get, the peace of God through Jesus Christ.

Most people don't know whom Jesus is. Also many who profess that they believe in the Bible, deny that Jesus is God. In Hebr. 1:1-14 it is God Father himself who speaks to his Son, and calls him God. Verse 8 and 9.
All God's angels will worship him. (Verse 6). If Jesus is not God, it would imply that all God's angels would be guilty of idolatry when they worship Jesus.
When Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!" then Jesus had no objection. John 20:28. When the disciples worshipped Jesus, then he received their worship, and he said nothing against that. Matt. 28:9, 17.
In John 8:24 Jesus says: If you do not believe that I am what I am, you will die in your sins. (The New English Bible).
In Matt. 19:16-17 Jesus says: "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." With this Jesus means, If I am good, then I am God.
If you want to do God's will, then you understand that Jesus' teaching is from God. John 7:17.

11. Re: pray directlyJohn Crawmer, Super Administratorwhat happens if we pray directly to God? — Guest UserGod desires that we pray to him. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV). "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour" (1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV). Praying directly to God, through His son, Jesus Christ, allows a person to petition our creator for special requests. "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" (Philippians 4:6 KJV). "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Romans 8:26 KJV). Now, if we know that we should pray, and that we have help from Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to make our requests known, what happens if we do pray directly to God? Paul prayed often to God, on one particular subject, he requested that a physical ailment be taken from him. "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:7-9 KJV). With this above quotation, it is evident, that what a man desires may not be according to our Heavenly Father's will, and therefore we find contentment in whatever situation we are in. Furthermore, oftentimes, it is found in the scriptures where faithful men of God petitioned and made supplications to Him, and were rewarded with the spiritual works, or understanding of God's help. "Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven" (Daniel 2:17-19 KJV). 10. pray directlyGuest User, Unregisteredwhat happens if we pray directly to God? 9. That was very helpful. So in essence, Jesus is able to connect to the sinful world as well as the pure and holy world. Got it!!! 8. Re: God and Jesus are two spiritual beings.Bible Research, UnregisteredHere are some further references that prove Almighty God Jehovah and His Son Jesus the Christ are two spiritual beings:
Jesus said that no one can come to him unless the Father draws him. John 6:44
John 14:28 – Father is greater than Christ. Christ himself said so.
John 14:15,16 – Christ prays to His Father.
John 20:17 – Christ ascended to His God.
Psalm 110:1,2 – Christ sits at His Father’s side.
Mark 13:32 – God knows the time, but Christ does not.
Also, read Proverbs 30:4, which refers to God and His Son, saying “…what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?”
John 17:3 says it is life eternal to know both the Father and the Son. It is worth proving to yourself.
4. Re: what do you believe?John Crawmer, UnregisteredJohn Crawmer: Do you believe in two gods then from your comment? You said that "there are TWO spiritual beings". What does this mean?
— Guest UserI apologize for the confusion. There are many spiritual beings. Most importantly there is Almighty God (Jehovah, or YHWH), He created another being, His only begotten son, now known as Jesus the Christ and there are many angels also. "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel" (Hebrews 12:22-24).
