"Come out of her my people" which is saying come out of false religion is a drastic change in life. It was living a life in deceit and then learning the truth. Paul is a great example of having lived a life influenced by false religion before learning from Christ. What is so "profound" about that? Paul - Galatians 1:13 "For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:"
My answer did not say we are all going to be knocked off the road and blinded. That was your insert. My answer was simply, once a person becomes a true Christian they have left behind former ideas taught by false religion.
For example a true Christian does not observe the Mosiac law anymore but rather follows Christ and lives through his sacrifice.
Galatians 5:3-5 3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Here are some examples of changing your life the way it was before and becoming a true Christian. "Come out of her my people" Ephesians 2:1-3 1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Romans 12:1-3 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 16. " they follow the lamb wherever he goes" — Bernie Kern c/o Bible ResearchThe Apostle Paul is a great example to answer this question. He killed Christians before he was knocked down on the road and shown the truth. Paul is one of the 144,000 and yet at one time in his life he was influenced by Babylon. So to answer your question, some of the 144,000 were influenced by Babylon but they "come out of her, my people" Revelation 18:4. — Guest Userthat is a very profound answer and applied to the call to "get out of her my people" it must indicate that the call will be in the order of the mind altering revelation that Paul experienced? 15. Re: Re: elihuGuest User, UnregisteredAre you asking or explaining? — BK2, Bible Researchexplaining how i understand that scripture with regard to the 144k if the 144k were not a specific number but only a symbolic one, the how many kings and royal priests would there beruling in heaven? and what purpose would they have if every Christian was to be part of that group? every christian would be already saved from the second death there would be no need for such a rulership 10. Re: mrBK2, Bible Research, UnregisteredAre you asking or explaining? 9. mrGuest User, Unregistered" but you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy" 1 peter 2:9
what is Peter saying
there is a chosen generation a nation of people
they are royal priests
they are his special people who were once not his people
they have obtained mercy by Christ they are purchased
8. Re: Mr.Bernie Kern c/o Bible Research, AdministratorI want to go to heaven. I do not want to be left out. I want you to go to heaven too. Unworthy as the thief on the cross, I want paradise too.
God bless — Guest UserLuke 10:25-28 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
